I promised myself that I would write in this everyday...well at least everyday I have access to the internet. Yesterday I had a sick baby.Today I have one better thou fussy baby but in exchange I got 2 sick big kids and 1 sick mom! So off to bed for me...trying to sleep as much as I can while my superhero ,aka my husband, watches Ms. sicky, Mr.pukey, and Little cranky.

tecnology driving me crazy
Since I live across the country from my family and dearest friends the Internet is invaluable.Without it I can guarantee that we would not remain as closely connected as we are. I can email my grandfather in California without having to calculate time difference.I can see pictures of my best friends expanding family without having to worry about the expense of her making me prints and I can post home videos so that my mother and siblings can watch my children grow. Today technology is not my friend.I have attempted to load things all day and without fail I keep getting error messages! Soooo frustrated!

Hand me my apron honeybunny!
Mrs. Housewife is going to plant some bulbs and craft and bake a cake and if there is time left after that I'm going to clean!!!!
It all seems so unreal. Don't get me wrong I love gardening and when the bulbs flower I will relish in their beauty every day until they wilt.I love to craft, creating something from nothing makes me feel good. My family loves what I bake, and I love treating them to some sugary gooey goodness. No matter how much I try to pretend I like to clean I so do not,but I do love a tidy house.
It just seems sometimes that I'm watching some other me do these things as if there is no way I could actually be this person referred to as mother or wife...

did you say door prizes?!?
Little miss patriot went to an army wife conference last night. In reality I just needed some time away from the kids and needed to do something for myself,it was free, dinner was included and there was a promise of tons of door prizes;that was enough to hook me. It surprisingly was a lot more fun than I would have imagined. I've been a military spouse for nearly a decade now and was sure that these "experts" would have the same old info to try to spoonfed me...not taking into consideration that we are not all tender 18 year olds newlyweds, possibly with a child(singular,) and a soldier strait out of AIT...thankfully they far exceeded my expectations. It was fresh, full of laughter, and was very informative even to a old pro like me! Walked away fulfilled from the table discussions, informed from the presentation, full from the dinner, with 3 bags worth of goodies!
